EUREKA Initiative for Packaging & Integration of µDevices & Smart Electronic Systems.
EURIPIDES² objectives
EURIPIDES² is a EUREKA Cluster promoting the generation of innovative, industry-driven, pre-competitive R&D projects in the area of Smart Electronic Systems. Euripides is operated by AENEAS.
EURIPIDES² operates in an open community of large industry, SMEs, universities, research institutes and user organisations, along the Electronic Components and Systems value chain. EURIPIDES² has facilitated access to national funding in Europe and beyond. As a EUREKA Cluster, the network is open to participants worldwide.
EURIPIDES is operated by AENEAS.
RD&I areas
EURIPIDES² covers the whole electronic systems integration value chain, from materials, equipment and technologies, components and modules, up to embedded, enmeshed and implanted systems.
The EURIPIDES² programme is guided by the ECS Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA), a comprehensive document providing guidance on the challenges and opportunities for innovation along the electronics value chain. See the 2021 ECS-SRIA final version.
EURIPIDES² Calls
Euripides² has launched in 2019, 2020 and 2021 joint Calls with Penta to join forces and generate an engagement with a broader range of funding countries. In 2021, Euripides has launched its last joint Call.
Successor of EURIPIDES²
Building on the highly successful Euripides² and Penta programmes, Xecs, an industry-driven initiative designed to accelerate electronics RD&I by partnering with National Funding Bodies, opened its 2023 Call during the Xecs Call 2 Launch Event on 29 September 2022. More on Xecs here.
