AENEAS presidency is rotating every three years.
With the implementation of the European Chips Act and the Chips Joint Undertaking, the preparation of the new EU Framework for Research and Innovation, and the focus on skills development and international collaboration, the importance of microelectronics and ECS continues to grow. As AENEAS President, I am committed to ensuring that the association continues its path of success, supporting our industry and representing its best interests

AENEAS Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board manages Aeneas Association. It is composed of 20 members (including Aeneas President) who hold senior executive level management positions within their own organisations.

12 representatives from Large Enterprises - Chamber C -
4 representatives from SMEs- Chamber A -
4 representatives from a University or Research Institute- Chamber B
Collectively, the Board members form a high-level representation from across the European electronics value chain. The supervisory Board provides AENEAS members with a strong voice at the highest European level.
It advocates for European and National support of Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) in the field of Electronics Components and Systems and more specifically in micro- and nano-electronics-enabled components and systems in order to strengthen the competitiveness of European industry.
With a broad experience in managing collaborative international RD&I programmes, it helps to shape the next funding instruments.
