The European ECS community is getting ready to meet in Helsinki! Registration is now open for EFECS 2026, taking place on 2–3 December at Messukeskus Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre. As a co-organiser, AENEAS encourages the ECS community and its members in particular to join us for two days of strategic discussions, project showcases, networking and exchange across Europe’s semiconductor ecosystem!
Organised by the Chips Joint Undertaking, in partnership with AENEAS, EPoSS and INSIDE Industry Associations, EFECS is the annual meeting point for industry, research, public authorities and policymakers working together to strengthen Europe’s position in semiconductors and Electronic Components and Systems (ECS).
This year’s theme, “Semiconductors at the crossroads: political power, industrial strategies and economic growth”, reflects the increasingly strategic role of semiconductor technologies for Europe’s competitiveness, resilience and technological leadership.

EFECS is an important moment for the community to meet, exchange and contribute to the discussions shaping the future of European ECS R&D&I. We therefore particularly encourage AENEAS Members to apply early and secure their participation!
