EFECS 2026 will bring the European Electronic Components and Systems (ECS) community together in Helsinki on 2–3 December 2026 for two days of strategic discussions, project showcases, networking and exchange.
Organised by the Chips Joint Undertaking, in partnership with AENEAS, EPoSS and INSIDE, EFECS is an annual meeting point for industry, research, public authorities and policymakers working to strengthen Europe’s position in semiconductors and ECS.
Under the theme “Semiconductors at the crossroads: political power, industrial strategies and economic growth”, this year’s edition will explore the strategic role of semiconductor technologies in Europe’s competitiveness, resilience and technological leadership.
The programme will feature high-level keynotes and policy discussions, insights into European R&D&I priorities and the Chips JU programme, a dedicated project exhibition, side events and opportunities to connect with stakeholders from across the ECS value chain.
