The countdown has begun! Registration is now open for the Xecs Matchmaking Event 2026, taking place on 6–7 October in Vienna.
Xecs, Eureka Cluster, operated by AENEAS, brings together key players across the Electronic Components and Systems (ECS) value chain to accelerate collaborative innovation. This matchmaking event is a pivotal step for organisations preparing their participation in Xecs Call 6.
Where ideas become projects
Whether you are an SME, large company, RTO or academic organisation, this event is designed to help you connect with the right partners and build strong project consortia. Participants will have the opportunity to pitch project ideas, showcase expertise, and engage in targeted networking sessions to turn concepts into concrete collaborations.
What’s new this year? More time, more connections, more impact
The 2026 edition introduces a two-day format, offering extended opportunities for meaningful exchanges.
- Day 1 focuses on matchmaking, project idea pitches and networking
- Day 2 is fully dedicated to project-building, with practical sessions covering consortium creation, proposal preparation and project execution
In addition, participants will benefit from enhanced features on the AENEAS Events Platform, designed to facilitate connections before, during and after the event — from submitting and browsing project ideas to planning meetings and engaging with potential partners more efficiently.
At the heart of Europe’s innovation ecosystem
Held back-to-back with the Smart Eureka Cluster Event, the event will gather an even broader community of innovators, making Vienna a key meeting point for Europe’s digital and deep-tech ecosystem this autumn.
