The Chips Joint Undertaking invites stakeholders from across the European ecosystem to take part in an online workshop dedicated to the two quantum technology topics foreseen in the 2026 Chips JU calls.
Following the selection of six quantum pilot projects for funding in 2025, the workshop will focus on the key enabling technologies and design capabilities required to support the development of scalable, high-performance quantum chips. Topics will range from cryogenic control and readout solutions to the emergence of comprehensive quantum design ecosystems.
The session will present the scope and objectives of the 2026 call topics and provide an opportunity for stakeholders to share perspectives on needs, challenges, and priorities. Open to all interested organisations, the workshop will feature contributions from the European Commission, Chips JU, industry associations, and will include an interactive Q&A session.
