Your Voice Matters: Join the ICOS Survey on Semiconductor Collaboration

03 Sep 2025

The European Commission is working to strengthen the role of Europe’s microelectronics industry in the global value chain. As part of this effort, the International Cooperation on Semiconductors (ICOS) project invites ECS community to participate in a survey on international cooperation in semiconductor technologies.

Why your input matters

Your contribution will help identify opportunities and requirements for collaboration with leading semiconductor regions such as Canada, China, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and the USA. The survey addresses a wide range of topics across the microelectronics value chain, including:

  • CMOS scaling and advanced patterning

  • RF devices, memory, and power devices

  • Sensing technologies & MEMS, FDSOI, and 2D materials

  • Quantum and neuromorphic computing

  • Heterogeneous integration, advanced packaging, and assembly

The findings will be consolidated and reported confidentially to the European Commission to guide future collaboration opportunities.

All responses are anonymous. The collected insights will only be used in the framework of the ICOS project to provide recommendations that foster international cooperation in semiconductors.

As an ICOS project partner, AENEAS warmly encourages its members to participate in this survey and share it with your networks.
