EU and Singapore Join Forces to Shape the Future of Semiconductors! In 2022, the European Union and Singapore launched a landmark Digital Partnership, underscoring their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation and accelerating the global digital transition.
As a concrete step forward, leading representatives from both regions will come together to open the first joint EU–Singapore Researchers’ Workshop on Semiconductors. The event will be introduced by Pierre Chastanet (DG CONNECT, European Commission), Katherine Power (DG RTD, European Commission), Aaron Voon-Yew Thean (Deputy President & Provost, National University of Singapore), and Tan Chee Seng (Scientific Director, A*STAR).
