Xecs Call 5: connect, collaborate, and get your RD&I project funded!

17 Jun 2025

AENEAS is pleased to announce the launch of Xecs Call 5. Operated by AENEAS as part of the Eureka Clusters Programme, Xecs enables cross-border cooperation and innovation by launching an annual call, guided by the ECS Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (ECS-SRIA).

Xecs Call 5 Timeline and Useful Information

The call is now open. Project Outlines (PO) can be submitted via the Xecs Project Zone by 22 January 2026, 17:00 CET. This is a two-stage submission call: selected applicants will be invited to submit their Full Project Proposal by 16 April 2026.

Xecs Call 5 is open to RD&I projects across the full ECS value chain, from foundational technologies to system-level integration. Proposals should be aligned with the ECS-SRIA and are expected to demonstrate technological innovation, impact, and collaboration across countries.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to engage early with their national Public Authorities to ensure alignment with national priorities and funding regulations. Support is provided throughout the process by technical experts, public funding bodies, and the Xecs Office.
