KDT JU completes the selection of new projects from the Calls 2021

13 new research projects from the Calls for proposals 2021 have been awarded by the Public Authorities Board (PAB) of the KDT Joint Undertaking. The PAB of the KDT-JU is composed of representatives of the public authorities of the KDT Participating States in the Joint Undertaking and of the European Commission.

The 13 awarded proprosals are:

  • Newlife
  • HICONNECTS
  • PowerizeD
  • AGRARSENSE
  • SHIFT
  • TRISTAN
  • BRIGHTER
  • Listen2Future
  • AIQ Ready
  • CLEVER
  • EdgeAI
  • REBECCA
  • RETICLES

The project proposals will sign the grants and launch their activities later this year. They are expected to secure crucial advancements for achieving the European Green Deal and digital transformation goals.

The 13 new projects addresses the following topics:

  • General topics according to the SRIA 2021: IA and RIA
  • Development of open-source RISC-V building blocks: IA
  • Processing solutions for AI at the edge addressing the design stack and middleware: RIA
  • A Pan-European chip infrastructure for design innovation: CSA
