The AENEAS Technical Expert Group (TEG) has been set up to advise the AENEAS Management Committee in all technical matters relating to programmes and projects relevant to AENEAS activities. Primarily, this involves acting as evaluators, reviewers and mentors to Eureka Clusters programmes managed by AENEAS which now means Xecs.
On an annual basis, AENEAS is launching a request for candidates to ensure that he has , in a controlled group size, all the in-depth knowledge required to participate in the TEG. AENEAS welcomes additionnal expertises accross all domains covered by the Electronic Components and Systems Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda, with a special emphasis in the following topics:

“Artificial Intelligence, Edge Computing and Intelligence at the Edge”, with focus on Artificial Intelligence;

“Components, Modules, and System Integration”;
-
“Quality, Reliability, Safety and Cybersecurity”, and more specifically the Cybersecurity aspects;

“Agrifood and Natural Resources
The TEG guidelines allow the opportunity for any active AENEAS member to propose candidates to join the TEG. These candidates are then assessed against the current expected requirements for the TEG and the AENEAS Management Committee is then asked to approve the proposed candidates.
The proposer is requested to fill in this nomination form and to submit it to Patrick Cogez no later that 15 November 2021. Applicants will be assessed, and recommandations made for decision at the AENEAS Management Committeemeeting on 15 December 2021.
The Xecs TEG experts provides support to the Xecs programme on all technical matters. Collectively all experts should be an appropriate representation of the European Electroncs value chain, and of the countries participating in Xecs. These experts will act as:
– Evaluators
– Reviewers
– Mentors
On average, Xecs experts meetings take place four times per year. Each expert will be in charge of evaluating 2 to 3 projects per year.
