Based on the feedback provided by EFECS 2020 participants, the final version of the new 2021 Electronic Components & Systems (ECS) Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) has been published by the three Industry Associations AENEAS, ARTEMIS-IA and EPoSS on 12 January 2021 during the ECS Brokerage Event 2021, an event co-organised by the Associations.
This year, a major revision of the ECS-SRIA was conducted with the goal of improving alignment in the community to help collaboration along the European value chains and value networks. This ECS is as wide-ranging as that of the three communities on micro- and nanoelectronics, smart systems integration, and embedded System of Systems.
This 2021 Edition of the ECS SRIA looks fifteen years ahead, giving direction to RD&I activities on ECS in Horizon Europe and the new partnership on Key Digital Technologies, as well as to EUREKA clusters such as PENTA and EURIPIDES.
