The ECSEL JU funded project “InForMed” was proudly selected to exhibit at the high-level conference “EU Research and Innovation in Our Daily Life”, which took place at the European Parliament in Brussels on 27 November 2018. The conference, jointly organised by the European Parliament and the European Commission, saw the attendance of distinguished guests including the President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani, Commissioner Carlos Moedas, Director-General Jean-Eric Paquet and several Members of the European Parliament.
With the primary focus on medical advances to cleaner energy and high-level engineering, the conference illustrated the importance of research projects funded by the European Union in improving our daily lives. One key project was “InForMed”, which aims to create a new platform approach to the innovation chain for next-generation medical devices, giving a boost to European manufacturers while establishing a facility that companies can use to manufacture and test prototype micro medical devices.
