The AENEAS Industrial Association is pleased to announce that Caroline Ferat Bedran will join the Association as its new Director General on August 1st 2017. This follows the decision by Marcel Annegarn to leave AENEAS after nine years, during which period the Association has developed as a major component of the European technology funding infrastructure. AENEAS is an integral part of the ECSEL Joint Undertaking and manages the EUREKA programme PENTA, both being vital elements of the funding infrastructure for micro and nanoelectronics components and systems in Europe – driving the Digital Economy.
Caroline comes to AENEAS with considerable experience, both in the microelectronics industry, with industrial Associations and related funding programmes. This included 10 years of involvement in collaboration management and cooperative strategy management at Philips and NXP, followed by a directorship at InterInnov, a company specialised in international research and innovation partnerships and public affairs.
